Operations as The Cost of Freedom began in 2008. Incorporated occurred on 1 October, 2013. The IRS assigned us the EIN 46-3773302 on March 7th 2014. Our IRS Letter of Determination was signed on 10 July, 2014 declaring that we are a 501c3, Private Operating Foundation. We are a sales Tax Exempt Charity in Indiana.
Our mission has evolved as we began providing just conservation programs
Our concerns for safety, adequate shelter and feeding define the limitations of all of our programs
Our programs are for Combat Wounded, Combat Injured & Disabled Veterans.
The Services and VA treat combat soldiers/veterans for mental Health and all physical issues.
For those Combat Soldiers that continue to walk the goat trails we can offer support and help as we have walked our own trails.
It has been said that we offer prescription without medication.
All invitees make application to attend any event.
Our financial ability limits the breath of any of our programs.
We offer, a Turkey Hunt, a Limited Pheasant Invitational Hunt, a Deer Hunt, and two Fishing Events each year. View events.
We sponsor two Ladder UPP workshops (a Life Skills workshop by Silouan Green).
We recommend grant candidates for Action Track Chairs to improve access to conservation programs.
In the future we plan to offer Niche Farming Training.
We endeavor to work with two ministries and Silouan Green with his message of Hope & Healing.
We have available the WholeTones Program to assist in PTSD Healing.
We can, on application coordinate Acupuncture Treatment for pain issues.
When possible we aid and support Warrior to Soul Mate Programs.
When possible we offer retreats for Combat Disabled Veterans.
Our goals are to aid and assist Combat Wounded and Disabled Veterans within our program structure.
A long term goal is to acquire land and build structures to support our programs.
